National Adoption Day is November 17, 2012. The National Adoption Day event provides the opportunity to finalize adoptions and celebrate all loving families that adopt. Lancaster County began celebrating National Adoption Day in 2005. An estimated 4,500 foster children are adopted each year on National Adoption Day.
