The Social Security Administration has issued a new ruling, SSR 12-2p, with regard to fibromyalgia, specifically addressing what evidence is needed to establish a “medically determinable impairment” (MDI) of fibromyalgia and how fibromyalgia will be evaluated when determining disability. If you have fibromyalgia and are unable to work, contact our office to schedule a consultation to discuss your possible disability claim. Our attorneys will gather the appropriate evidence and reports the Social Security Administration relies upon for granting benefits.
